Jessica Cubeta


Jessica A. Cubeta, MLA, is the Global Health Research Coordinator & Webmaster in the Division of Global Public Health.  She received her BA in advertising/communication from Loyola College and her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.  Ms. Cubeta studied abroad at the American University of Rome in Italy, and interned for an advertising firm in Dublin, Ireland.  She has over seven years of experience with study coordination, including acting as a Research Assistant and Webmaster for the Women’s Interagency HIV Study (WIHS), and as a Study Coordinator for the Osteoarthritis Initiative Study, based in Baltimore, MD. She also managed The Johns Hopkins Arthritis Center's clinical database.

Ms. Cubeta created and manages the division’s website, writes web content, assists with grant preparation and fundraising efforts and coordinates all activities for the UCSD Global Health Initiative.
